Supporting Adaptive Surfers
Championed by Johan from the finance team, Once a month, volunteers pledge their time at Muizenberg Beach to dedicate their energy to supporting adaptive surfers – individuals with physical or mental disabilities who share the dream of riding the waves. These sessions are about more than just surfing; they’re about building confidence, breaking barriers, and creating an inclusive space where everyone can experience the joy of the ocean.
With the help of volunteers, coaches, and a welcoming community, we work alongside each surfer to encourage their growth and celebrate their achievements in the water. It’s a morning filled with teamwork, inspiration, and the simple but powerful belief that surfing is for everyone.

Community Outreach To Local School
The Amicorp team in Cape Town united in a meaningful initiative to support the local community by collecting and donating essential stationery and sanitary items. These contributions were delivered to a primary school in the township of Langa, where they will assist young learners who often face resource constraints. Through this effort, the team demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to making a positive, tangible difference in the lives of children. This initiative not only provided much-needed supplies but also strengthened the team’s connection to the community and highlighted the value of collective action.

Rise Against Hunger Voluntary Program
The team also participated in a voluntary programme with the Rise Against Hunger Africa initiative, where they contributed to packing more than 6,000 meals—enough to support children for the next six years. Rise Against Hunger Africa is dedicated to building stronger, more food-secure communities across the country. Through their ECD Connect Programme, children aged one to six receive nutritious meals that form the foundation for healthy development, learning, and growth. By ensuring consistent access to food, the programme enables Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres to redirect their limited resources toward teacher training, infrastructure improvements, and educational materials. The result is a sustainable, long-term impact that uplifts both the children and the communities they belong to.
